Dr. Danahey is board certified by The American Board of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and The American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. In addition he has published numerous articles on the subject of Facial Plastic Surgery and presented his research at national meetings.
Dr. Danahey completed his doctorate in philosophy (within the department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and Anatomy) and medical degree at The Ohio State University. He then attended the University of Minnesota for a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Danahey served as an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago for one year, and followed with a three and a half year term as Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as an assistant professor at Northwestern University. Dr. Danahey's practice has focused exclusively on facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, allowing him to build on his expertise in this area.
